YBI delegation at Moscow G20 Youth Summit

The participants of the G20 Youth Summit held their meeting on 15 – 17 June in Moscow. Together with the Youth Business International delegation, they drew up recommendations to the G20 leaders.
The young participants of the congress believe that fostering public support of the youth entrepreneurship is one of the vital conditions of sustainable growth.

YBI representatives from the UK, Australia, Canada, China, Russia and Saudi Arabia contributed to the discussion of the most fundamental issues related to the implementation of youth policy at the global level.

Addressing the issues of youth employment and creation of jobs, the Youth Summit participants proposed a number of measures aimed at the development of youth entrepreneurship, such as increased investment in education of entrepreneurs, elaboration of labour legislation in the G20 countries in order to reduce taxes and cut costs of youth businesses, provision of better access to lending instruments, creation of platforms for coordinating services in the field of youth entrepreneurship.

The YBI delegation participating in the event included Head of the Branch Office IBLF in Russia, Youth Business Russia Programme Manager Boris Tkachenko.
