The YBR Programme to Win the AGFUND Special Award
At its annual conference in Manila, the Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND) awarded the Youth Business Russia Programme with a special prize.
On February 27, 2013, in attendance of the representatives of the AGFUND, UN bodies, and national non-profit organizations, the award and special certificate were bestowed to the Youth Business Russia Programme Manager Boris Tkachenko. This award is a sign of high recognition by a non-profit foundation of the Arab states of “the outstanding contribution of the Branch Office IBLF in Russia to SME business environment improvement through best practices and youth empowerment”.
The award ceremony was preceded by the workshop which united the CEOs and top managers of the world’s biggest and most advanced non-profit initiatives into a one-of-a-kind think-tank.
The Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND) is a non-profit organization established 1989 at the initiative of Saudi Arabia’s Prince Aziz Al Saud. Supported by other Arab countries, the organization provides assistance to non-profit initiatives aimed at developing human potentials and resources.
