The first meeting of YBR Selection Panel in Rostov-on-Don
On June 5, 2012, the first meeting of Selection Panel in Rostov-on-Don was held at the premises of “Own Business” Press Club. The members of Selection Panel discussed young entrepreneurs’ business projects that can be successfully implemented soon.
The project business plan that will be reviewed and approved by the members of Selection Panel will serve as a ground for providing the loan. Selection Panel comprises representatives of the companies interested in growth of youth entrepreneurship in the region and that have signed multilateral partnership agreement.
On June 5, the first 6 business plans composed by young budding entrepreneurs from the cities of Rostov-on-Don, Shakhty and Salsk were submitted to Selection Panel. The members of Selection Panel reviewed the descriptions of proposed businesses in various industries: retail, catering, arts, sports, internet technologies, and decided that all business proposals prepared by young entrepreneurs Sergey Bochorishvili, Artem Kondrashkin, Dmitry Ostapenko, Ekaterina Ivanova, Vladislav Voronin, Igor Dzentsiolovsky worth attention.
All six business plans were approved by Selection Panel members. The four of the young entrepreneurs, Sergey Bochorishvili, Vladislav Voronin, Dmitry Ostapenko and Ekaterina Ivanova became YBR participants. Two other candidates, Artem Kondrashkin and Igor Dzentsiolovsky were advised to refine financial sections of their projects within a month, whereafter their presentations will be re-considered by the members of Selection Panel by absentee voting. Besides, the budding entrepreneur Artem Kondrashkin can now get professional assistance from Natalia Kovalenko, Deputy Director of non-for-profit partnership “Rostov Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship” and the member of Selection Panel.
