Next meeting of YBR Club members in Voronezh Region
The third meeting of Club members of “Youth Business Russia” programme in Voronezh Region (YBR in VR) was held in the conference hall of Voronezh Regional Resources Centre, one of the regional partners of the programme. Young entrepreneurs, their mentors and members of Selection Panel have had another meeting in a friendly way. Boris Tkachenko, Head of YBR programme, told club members about latest news of the programme and presented YBR page on Facebook. The participants nominated some members of the programme for participation in “The Best Ecological Entrepreneur” and “The Best Mentor” awards in YBI “Entrepreneur of the Year” contest.
As it became a tradition, all participants made brief presentations of their businesses and many of them have immediately found potential clients, and perhaps, business partners. Much interest was aroused by the speeches about “social entrepreneurship” made by the guests of the Club, representatives of Oxfam, British non-governmental non-for-profit organization.
In the course of the meeting, the participants managed to discuss lots of issues of great concern for the members of the programme, both achievements and emerging problems, for example, in relation to availability of financial resources for start-up businesses. Consequently, the participants agreed to hold a Round Table and to invite representatives of credit organizations to discuss this issue.
