The first expert meeting of the Selection Panel of the programmeYouth Business Russiatook place in the building of Vladivostok Administration on January 27, 2011
Young entrepreneurs defended their business plans before the Selection Panel. The beginning businessmen, whose plans were approved by the Selection Panel, will be granted a credit up to 150,000 rubles for a period of up to 3 years at the interest rate of 12% per annum.
Eight business plans, prepared by the young entrepreneurs, were presented at the expert meeting. It was decided to finance five of them. The total sum of granted loans is 700,000 rubles. 15 new jobs will be created, 4 dependants kept by the young entrepreneurs and their employees were supported.
Among business plans approved by the Selection Panel the following were presented: services for designing and installation of saunas, opening of furniture production, setting-up of a quail farm, retail trade of clothing and footwear according to the franchising scheme, rendering of sports services. Generally the credit is granted for purchase of equipment that will enable the young businessmen to develop their business, not to stop at the achieved results.
The Chairman of the Selection Panel in Vladivostok is the Director of the Association of Credit Unions of the Primorsky Krai — Irina Nikolaevna Chaika.

Branch Manager of SABMiller RUS LLC in Vladivostok Pavel Kudryavtsev, Deputy Director of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship Support, Competition Development, Investments and Preparation for the APEC Summit of Primorsky Krai Roman Vladimirovich Pankov, representative of USAID Irina Victorovna Lindberg also took part in the work of the Selection Panel.
Vladivostok joined in the programme in November 2010 with the assistance of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The programme is realized in Vladivostok with the support of Vladivostok Administration, specifically Youth Administration of Vladivostok and Administration of Economics and Entrepreneurship Development of Vladivostok.
Russian business interested in the development of the Far Eat is involved in financing of the activities and events related to the YBR Programme. Credit portfolio is provided by FESCO Transportation Group and MARITIME Bank. Part of the administrative expenses of the Programme is covered by SABMiller RUS LLC, manufacturing facility of which is placed on the territory of Vladivostok in Trudovoy settlement.
