The 5th Webinar for Russian-speaking mentors of entrepreneurs in the frame of SOS Mentoring global initiative
On the 17th of June, Youth Business Russia and the Mentoring Institute held a webinar ‘Skills of work with other people’ in the framework of the SOS Mentoring global initiative.
The webinar was conducted by Boris Tkachenko and Irina Gorelova.
This time, the mentors from Russia, Armenia and Kazakhstan discussed:
- How to build and sustain confidence,
- How to help with challenging issues,
- Concentrate on action.
Exploration and building of determination. The mentors took the chance to apply the received skills in groups basing on the case of a mentor and entrepreneur Alexey Chaikin, owner of nutrition delivery service ‘The Time to Eat’ (“Время есть”) from Sochi.
Participants’ questions and Alexey’s comments following the discussion, and recommendations provided by other mentors proved they were helpful and some of them were practiced immediately.
Summarized conclusions on the case study can be leveraged by the mentors in their work with mentees.
Next Wednesday, the 24th of June, the final webinar of this series will take place and will be dedicated to the primary mentors’ requirements in the context of continued support for them.
