Webinar for new mentors from Kazakhstan, Armenia and Russia

Youth Business Russia and the Mentoring Institute held an introductory webinar ‘Basics of Mentoring in Entrepreneurship’ on the 4th of June for new mentors from Kazakhstan, Armenia and Russia working in the frame of Youth Business International network and partner programmes of the Mentoring Institute.

34 mentors (most of them entrepreneurs) from 3 countries took part at the webinar, together with programme coordinators of Youth Business Armenia and Youth Business Kazakhstan.

The participants of the webinar met their colleagues from other  countries, tried on the roles of a mentor and a mentee; reviewed international and Russian experience in mentoring in entrepreneurship; proved it was the right choice to become a mentor; practiced listening, asking questions and receiving feedback. Next, our colleagues from Kazakhstan, Armenia and Russia will shortly match pairs and appoint the trained mentors for each individual mentee who were instructed yesterday.
