Starting Mentoring at Youth Business Armenia

Mentoring support for young businessmen of Armenia has been launched during week of the 17^th of December.

Boris Tkachenko, CEO of Mentoring Institute and Youth Business Russia, together with his YBI colleagues Liana Sargisyan and Hasmik Sevumyan, Jinishian Memorial Foundation, implementing Youth Business Armenia (YBA) Programme, launched pilot projects for mentoring support in three regions in Armenia. Seminars, matching and first matches meetings took place in the towns of Chambarak (Gegharkunik Province), Gyumri (Shirak Province) и Vanadzor (Lori Province).

26 mentors and 19 mentees completed preliminary training, 19 matches were built and hold their meetings on the same occasion. It was a complicated task to launch the mentoring project in a limited time-frame and while travelling through the country via the capital city Yerevan, however joint efforts of the coordinated team of enthusiastic young entrepreneurs and understanding mentors, experienced businessmen, made it possible. All the participants will remember this journey for a long time! We wish mentees and mentors every success!
